These green products are made from natural fibres obtained from rice husks, the hard protective coverings of rice grains that are usually burned or thrown away. Durable, stylish and eco-friendly, Earth Husks tableware makes an ideal substitute for normal plastic tableware.
Produced through a high heat compression process which is totally free from toxic substances or by-products, Earth Husks tableware products are totally safe, reusable and eco-friendly. They are also able to withstand temperatures ranging between -30°C and 120°C.
Comes in a natural rice husk colour which may vary from one product to another as not all husks are of the same colour. Their natural brown colour means that there are no added dyes, harmful fillers or chemicals that may jeopardise health.
User Guide
Usage of Earth Husks tableware in high temperatures might produce a smell of rice husks. This is natural and is no cause of worry.
Biodegradation takes anywhere between 9 months to years and begins when the product is exposed to an ideal environment such as:-
- Landfills
- Compost (backyard compost or commercial facilities
- Agricultural and erosion-control settings.
Care Instructions
- Do no soak
- Not for use over direct fire, or with electric oven or grill.
- Use low temperature with microwave and do not heat for more than 2 minutes
